Actual Skate Coverage! Easton Tour! Motors in front seats! Beach!

I was lucky enough to have off this weekend. After a early morning thunder storm I hooked up with Dustin and Gary and began the "Hurry up and Wait" game till the rest of the posse mounted up.
Regardless of the weather, we decided to lurk out the Trench to pass some time. We guessed it might be muddy but dayum!!

We quickly focused our energy on some flat land with Dustin's new whip.

We hooked up with the rest of the crew and headed to Easton for a OG spot tour.
Having so many people in a crew might slow you down by trying to decide where to skate, deciding what to film, or deciding what to eat. Luckily everyone was on the same Saturday Vibe, or didn't care enough to complain. A true Summer Day.

First some crusty bank action where you can go over by yourself

Once inside everyone surfed at ease but this spot is NOT easy. Luke was hucking huge styled ollies on the wall.

Dustin was getting high in the pic somewhere.

and taking it frontal also

Wess got pop to fakie on the crust.

Mike became my unofficial tour guide for the day because he knew where Jimmy's Hot Dogs was and didn't even bother torturing me with long winded directions, he just said " Dude, We'll go there!"
I thought I saw Jimmy's on a TV segment but I wasn't able to find any info about a show on the net. Maybe it was a dream but it was worth it regardless. They're so Core, they only sell Dogs, chips, and soda. It was only .90 cents for a dog with everything and a $1. for a drink, well worth it. I might have been in a summer buzz but I loved it!

"What you want?"
"One with Everything"
"You want mustard?"
"Yeah. Everything"
"You want pickle?"
"Yeah....Everything"
"You want oni.."
"YES! EVERYTHING!"

Hot Dog: 8/10
Service and Appearance: 2/10 (which is actually a positive thing in a hot dog stand)
In all fairness Gary only wanted to give a 4 total.

Yes, thats a full pickle, enough onions to make you cry ,and a dog somewhere under it.

While I sat with everyone, enjoying a Dog, I told Mike how much fun I was having today.
He said , "Good. Because, once when I was younger, Phil told me 'Easton was a turd that wouldn't flush' and it still hurts"
I'd like to appoint Mike Emery to the Easton Public Relations Dept. Good Job Mike.

Jimmy's got Jimmy pumped up to ollie a 6 step to flat gap that was at the same plaza. Which he handled quickly before working on and finally killing a giant heelflip over the entire thing. This thing was huge, I wish I had better flicks but you might be able to see it here. Here is a shot of the distance

With enough energy and daylight left for another spot, we were off to the other side of town for some Pop to Drop.
Kyle, Dustin, Jimmy, and Wess rocked it while we continued to lurk. Luke pulled a Super Solid Switch Flip to wrap it up. Between this and this, Luke got the hardest SwFlip in the valley.

I went back to Gary's house to watch him sell a engine to a guy that drove 5 hours to pick it up, IN HIS GIRLFRIENDS CAR!!
"You really think it's gonna fit?"
"If we take her door off."

It fit, but not before the door was off the hinge, and oil and coolant was leaking all over the garage and his girls whip.

Pretty Awesome day.
