Right as I got home from work I decided to hit up Saugy with Lawrenzo to enjoy some of the sun. The park was packed and the energy was high. Colby pushed the battery to the limit, so he must have some footy here. I will continue to respectfully refer to him as Mr.Blackman till I can think of something else that is both witty and doesn't rely purely on racism to be funny. Race will be strongly involved, but only as a map
Putting the Z in Kurtz
Meatheads, I mean, Meatpies.
Kyle was hucking BackBiggieBackTail, bet they will be wired by the weekend.
Pat and I. Close friends
It's crowded in the field. Andy, HalfCab Kriz Revert
Yesterday was Spring on Fourth St. The City shut down New St between LaLupita and Lehigh College for Homebase and Source Bike Shop to demo it up. Cap Cee warmed up for the evening (Bring that EPMD to the AD parties), and all the local stores and restaurants had a chili cook off. The biggest draw was the margarita special at the Funhouse. Every time I went over It was a Who's Who of local skaters. It's rad to walk around the street sippin out of both your 'ritas seeing so many rippers enjoying the day. Why doesn't this go down once a month?
Jamal Smith was there and is one down to earth dude. He teaches and dances along with fully reppin 10DEEP. What up German? Front pivot on RedBull barrier , Video should pop up over on Mr.Blackman's
Beerds. Wes wetting his whistle between butter heels
These dudes catchin tans at the bar
After the Demo the margarita motivation told us one thing, BBQ!
A case of beers, some meat , some rolls, some wraps, some rude girls on whisky some juggling, and plenty of laughs. It just doesn't stop today. This was clearly the most krunk section of the day. One event down, one big buzz happening, and two events to go.
Hank Tate's first appearance of the day
This was the prank door. You just set it up behind the real door, sit on the porch ,cell your friends inside to come outside, and let the funny commence.
The mid point of the day was a hip hop show at Blue Sky Cafe where Hank Tate and Phil Ballins drove it like they stole it Colbert and I showed up late and before I could even get in the door Colby was wildn out lovely.
The AD Crew was at it again last night, winding up a long fun day, this time it was Glow 2.
Colbert and I handled the painting colabo.
Earlier in the week we had painted the backglow and were able to show up with just some black to cut the letters out. I'm happy with how it turned out and I always like painting with SorceOne'r
The primer was old and lumpy , but you can stretch that sh!t longer then you think.
Colbert doesn't have a working gas gauge in his car. From what I saw, he just overfills it and lets the gas puddle up till the passenger says "What's that noise?" Whatever works for him, I guess.
We met the Homies at the Goggle Works ledge. Colbert and I took a lap around the gallery to check it out.
The ledge was getting a work out. Frontal for Pat
Swizz for Gary
And 5-0 to secret dismount by Kyle
The guys inside were cool. Instead of kicking us out, they ran and got their own whip. Gary tries the new sled.
Then off to check a Lil'gap
yeah, the 17th. Out of them ALL. Don't sweat it, after #14 everything's under 30%
We went to a ledge spot and needed to use a shoelace to pull the fence out the way of Kyle's bluntslide attack.
Peace to the kid that said "Yeah. Blog It". Thats just how I do, and you know this Mannnnn.
My name is Josh Novak and I'm a Skateboarder from the 610. I love to paint and collect things. With this Blog I will try to pass on all the local events I can, including all skateboarding (local gossip?) , Music I'm into at the time (possible Downloads?), all the info on what art projects and shows I'm working on at the time, along with some general entertainment. I hope you all enjoy, Josh.
